    I was perplexed they hadn't dialed back the temp forecast. For the last 24 hours, none of the meso models I saw had us getting past the low 50s (if that).

    Ended up with .78" of rain yesterday. That finally did in the last of the snow on the deck after 25 days of snow cover.

    5.25" here in North Bethesda. The band about an hour ago had some of the biggest snowflakes I've ever seen; the biggest were 2-3 inches across.

    .7 in about 15 minutes between 3-3:15. Accompanied by some hail-slightly larger than pea size. Might have been the best storm of the year here.

    Planning to drive down to Carolina Beach south of Wilmington tomorrow. I figure it will be better to drive through the storms in NC than have to load up the car here in the rain Friday morning.
