The qpf has overproduced tonight by 50% from what the GFS had for us here, .35 vs .23 on the 18z run. It's just about over now. Here's hoping it does the same tomorrow.
21z RAP cut back in western areas, but held serve in eastern areas. Was actually a bit colder since it was east of 15z, so the ratios are slightly better this time in the eastern areas.
GFS may be the new king, at least for the short term. I wonder what changed for the Euro to cave so much on this run?
In any case, I look forward to a good 4-8" here in E MA.
Even though the qpf was less this run on the NAM, thanks to the colder run the end result of the total snow is still the same in many areas as at 18z. Thanks, Kuchie... That would be about 7" here.
