    BUF AFD. Slop Storm SYNOPSIS... A storm system advancing out of the Tennessee and Ohio Valleys tonight will produce a slop storm of mixed precipitation tonight and Thursday. There remains a potential for a widespread significant snowfall Thursday night and Friday across much of the area when the system slowly moves to our east. The snowfall will be enhanced southeast of the lakes where major impacts will be possible.

    I'm hopeful for tomorrow's event as there a nice bit of cold air in place beforehand. This is certainly more helpful that starting with a 45 degree day before the event. We're mid-20s today which will help keep the ground cold - even if the 2m temps rise above freezing temporarily.
