  1. As of 3:35PM for S Shore? * WHAT...Widespread accumulating snow. Additional snow accumulations of 5 to 9 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
  2. I have family up there about 45 N of Bangor. Will be interesting to see, but I think northern sections of the state will see the most.
  3. There's nothing like skiing during a snowstorm. I got to do it last Feb at Greek Peak...just need some nice goggles! ENJOY!
  4. Where's a good radar/satellite view to see the Lake Enhancement?
  5. That was fun as a kid, but really damaging to everything. I'll stick with a light glaze w/2' of snow on top...lol
  6. How's it there Tim? I'm not impressed with the dendrite size.
  7. Impressive tstorm line going through Florida. This system is dynamic!
  8. Worries me a bit, but expecting precip to blossom & fill in... in the next few hours.
  9. Anyone know if the meso models compensate for abnormally high lake temps when calculating Lake Enhancement potential? Just wondering if the S Shore is in for an additional 'boost' due to this...
  10. Now is when i would expect KBUF to pull the WSW trigger.
  11. Up to 32.4 here. Anyone else inching above freezing? Must be due to my proximity to the lake.
  12. I don't remember, in my OSU met days, discussing these differences in synoptics. I would think an existing baroclinic (frontal) zone would provide additional moisture and lift, but maybe not the pronounced banding that a single LP would produce.
