  1. The 18z NAM certainly made a significant jump towards the westward CMC and RGEM, and in fact a bit west of the 18z RGEM now.
  2. The question is, what's the mechanism for delaying the LP formation on the GFS vs accelerating it on other models? The 18z GFS surface reflection just looks weird to me from 42-60hrs...
  3. Anyone want to explain the fundamental synoptic differences to produce the different camps and which one (if any) seem more realistic?
  4. Such a big difference between the Euro and CMC:
  5. The 500mb dynamics are looking more 'Canadian' to me so far...as well as the surface - even a bit more west. Might be a good run! And I was so wrong...what the??
  6. The 'trend' this year is west so let's see how this plays out...could get interesting. All eyes on the Euro!
  7. Hoping the CMC & RGEM work out! Interested in seeing what the 12z Euro has...
  8. I'll just take a cross-polar flow and -EPO...
  9. They are starting to show up at local pharmacies this week. Pretty amazing.
  10. The Christmas eve front certainly slowed - hoping this one does as well.
  11. Read this Matt, it's encouraging. https://www.severe-weather.eu/global-weather/polar-vortex-collapse-winter-weather-europe-united-states-2021-fa/
  12. Great read regarding the SSW event and it's potential impacts over the next 2-3 weeks. https://www.severe-weather.eu/global-weather/polar-vortex-collapse-winter-weather-europe-united-states-2021-fa/
  13. Interesting, yet predictable, and good info about the flu compared to last year this time:
  14. Yes, same here. Got ourselves the 10th dusting of the winter. Think we're up to 6" total now? lol.
  15. All the models seem to struggle for a bit when a big chunk of cold air moves in due to a patten change. Wouldn't be surprised if things shift significantly until 2-3 days out.
  16. Friend from London area...just got 6" overnight. Pretty rare for that area I think:
  17. We were told the high-quality phytocannabinoid oil has no THC in it. Regardless, the other anti-anxiety homeopathic med is actually called GABA...lol 500mg by Douglas Laboratories. I would also add that prayer and meditation can be very therapeutic.
  18. Disney movies can be quite intense...lol. In all seriousness though. Vertigo can be easily diagnosed by and ENT specialist (cause by fluid/crystals in the eardrum - mom had it). However, it could very well be anxiety as many people, especially men, tend bottle up their stress to a boiling point with some trigger (chemical, situational, etc.) and then it all kinda falls out with all sorts of symptoms. I've noticed that with many, including myself, previously thinking it- "Where did this even come from? I'm not stressed or anxious." With that said, my wife has also been dealing with anxiety and just went to a holistic doctor and received a couple of homeopathic meds specifically designed to help (non-addictive as well). One of these is a high-quality phytocannabinoid/hemp/CBD (which I think Dave can vouch for). If you're interested in knowing them, I'll let you know.
  19. I found a different GDP chart here, different from yours. Remember, GDP in 2020 was quite unique and would've crashed under any sitting president - Trumps 4 year average would've been north of 2.5% without COVID. Here's the link (https://www.thebalance.com/gdp-growth-by-president-highs-lows-averages-4801102): And the S&P (https://www.forbes.com/sites/sergeiklebnikov/2020/07/23/historical-stock-market-returns-under-every-us-president/?sh=7150e665faaf): “Bull markets and bear markets come and go, and it’s more to do with business cycles than presidents.”
