  1. I wonder what the situation was. Was he unable to be vaccinated yet? I know people who ended up in the ICU or worse but that's because they were anti-vaxx.
  2. A rare cold pocket in a sea of warmth. Would not be shocked to see temps near 50 midday Saturday. We quickly warm into 80s and likely 90s after the holiday weekend.
  3. The onshore flow could still linger into Monday especially across eastern areas. Never bought into Memorial day weekend as being the unofficial start of summer. Beaches are cold, temps could still be chilly...way too many variables. To me July 4th weekend is the true start to summer.
  4. I wonder how many times we've seen highs in the 50s for both memorial weekend days. Memorial day itself still looks like the best day of the lot.
  5. If only last weekend was switched with this one. Looks brutal from Friday into Monday. It won't rain everyday but 50s with stiff easterly winds will be very unpleasant.
  6. Omg only 31! Very unfortunate. RIP.
  7. Yeah bad timing for the upcoming holiday. Monday itself could be salvaged but a good chunk of the weekend looks cool, damp. Even worse if you're heading down the shore.
  8. Things kinda crapped out after that big snowstorm though we still got some nice moderate snow events.
  9. Almost no precip next 10-14 days. With that level of dryness expect highs to go above forecast. Some upper 90s on Wednesday or even a rare 100F reading wouldn't surprise me. If this pattern continues into June & July it's going to get wild. Tremendous fire risks as well.
  10. Hottest summer since early 2010s incoming.
  11. If this dryness extends into summer we could be seeing 100s
  12. That screams record highs.
  13. Multiple 90+ temps looking likely later next week. Could be another latter month hot spell that turns cooler once June starts. Seems to be a theme where the first half to 2/3 of the month is normal to BN and then it goes very warm last third or so.
  14. That's some mid summer heat showing up though maybe not as dewey just yet. First 90s?
  15. Overnight guidance trended a lot warmer. 80s looking much more likely next week.
  16. Nice seasonal progression. Love those cool mornings.
  17. It's not uncommon to see 30-60% corrections in crypto and most newbie investors will not have the stomach for it. The whales know this and will take advantage of the opportunity. Also given the vast institutional support for this bull run vs 2017 I wouldn't be shocked to see big investors rush in after the dump and scoop up the discounts and Bitcoin rallies in the weeks ahead to new record highs.
  18. Obviously not everyone will succeed but imo there are a lot more ways to make money nowadays if you just try. I agree that there are far too many distractions and everyone wants to make it big without doing the hard work. I still don't get the emphasis placed on College these days. You could take those few years and costs and put it to much better use.
  19. Well when they see everyone sitting on their asses getting millions doing trades off memes or getting millions of views through YouTube & brand deals from dancing videos on TikTok it kinda cheapens everything. I don't think people really understand how much things have changed just in the last 10-15 years. The OK Boomer mentality is real. In what world would people have thought playing video games or streaming all day could earn them more money than being a doctor or lawyer.
  20. We'll get there by Thursday and stay there. Awesome weather coming up with cool, dry mornings and mild to warm days. No need to rush the heat on May 11. They'll be plenty of 80s and 90s in the months ahead.
  21. Huh? March & April have both been AN temperature wise and BN precip wise. May could follow if the 2nd half really heats up. We'll be in the 70s by midweek and we'll have some 80s next week. I guess if you wanted 80F+ and sunny every day since March then sure move to Florida.
  22. Good collection of investments. Definitely consider Polygon, Polkadot and Chainlink as well. My top 3 are ETH, Cardano and equal shares into XLM & Polygon. I have some LTC as well. ETH & Cardano are excellent long term investments & you could stake them for 5-8% interest depending on the pools you're using. And even though Bitcoin has been moving sideways for 3 months it's still worth investing into for the long term. I personally don't own any but if it dips below 49-50K I might buy in.
  23. That sounds like something someone whose been around Twitter too long would say. Thankfully the real world is less annoying.
  24. I agree. Things will sizzle shortly after mid May. Could be testing 90F+ last week of May.
