    Wish I would have been able to get up there for peak (it a great excuse to get to the UP). At least it can be just as nice around here with fall colors (just a couple weeks from peak).

    Cherry Picking events does not constitute climate change. Climate will always change because it was NEVER a constant. These birds showing up is due to various circumstances the least likely being climate change. Last I checked winters with snow and subfreezing temps still occurs in Wisconsin. Acting like animals have never shown up in places they don't belong is just ridiculous as saying every one of these events are because of climate change.

    You want CG. I have been in the Keys all week. Unfortunately on the plane now heading home. I have seen about 100 CG strikes this week. Some very close others out in the waters. Lots of good nocturnal storms too.

    Well we would want to ruin things for you. Edit: I really hope you get some much needed rain. I just looked at the 12Z Euro. It shows quit a nice stretch of weather to end September.

    I like it when it is early. I mulch the leaves (too much to do it any other way where I live). It was great last year being done with the yard around Halloween as opposed the Thanksgiving. Nothing worse than pulling out the mower when it's almost December. Sorry but I can't stand it when my snow drifts have a ton of leaves in them. Sure a few others on here feel the same way.

    Agreed. I wouldn't want to be restricted like that either. It was fun seeing several waverunners being used to go back and forth from the island to Key West. It was only 10 minutes or less to cross.

    Agreed. But if you reanalyze it enough you can make it say whatever fits your agenda or pay check. The agenda makers will declare it truth regardless of reality. Say it loud enough and the masses will believe it as the truth.

    It's not bad right now but schools are all in session. Off season. Locals say it is horrible mid-Feb well into April. Plus other holiday weeks. I tend to go to things on the off season as I can't stand crowds. Of course that means not everything is open.

    Getting a decent shower here. Had some thunder to the north for a while but have heard any in the past 15 minutes. Love it when it rains. For some reason whenever something is falling from above I am a happy camper

    Your area did great Ended up with 1/2 of what you did. My station/gauge is at 0.7". Matched what was forecasted (1/2"-3/4").

    Just had a fun extended weekend of travel. Happened to be in St Joseph MO on Friday morning and got a really good T-storm that morning with some decent CG. Happened to be driving on I80 in central NE on Saturday with those big storms. Beauties but stayed just ahead of them as I didn't want to get involved with hail (1-2"were reported). Sometimes got put the car before the storm

    Very slow at getting over here. Not sure what we are going to get as it keep decreasing on radar as it gets over here. That can change this evening so we'll see.

    After the bone dry May into June, this summer has turned out quite well (I know May is a spring month). Great temps and several storms.
