  1. Tonight is a greater chance for a freeze. Winds should calm at sunset temps will drop quick, below 32F dependent on timing of the cloud deck coming.
  2. Below normal with frequent showers the next two weeks, no letup in the pattern in sight. Mid March through mid May may be the longest below normal streak in the area since 2015. We got the great winter pattern two months late. We can hope for mercy by the second week of May i guess.
  3. Brief downpour and wind gust, one distant thunder. April of azz. Although power is a good thing.
  4. Several GFS ensemble members with snow on April 28th
  5. Temps dropped for the second half of the week and a procession of rain storms. -EPO/NAO is playing havoc with optimistic forecasts for mild.
  6. The GFS nailed the April winter pattern back in mid March It was nice today through 2:30, last hour overcast windy and feels like late October
  7. Don S reasoning says there will be hell to pay from May through this summer
  8. The Monday storm which was expected to miss keeps jumping north. Result is a stronger cold shot arriving Tuesday. The warm up is all but cancelled Mon-Wed. Wed looks windy like today and I bet struggles to hit 50F. Guidance is close to useless at 5 days out now.
  9. 46F still overcast and very windy, wind chill must be 30F. So much for morning clouds and afternoon sun.
  10. The virus thrives in this weather I can't understand why you would want it to stay this cold. Two years in a row a freezing spring after a mild awful winter.
  11. Weather World - A reluctant spring the next 4 weeks, in other words not much warm weather. I swear they better be wrong and this damn -NAO needs to go.
  12. Don S pointing to a warm May, hope it's +7
  13. Caught a break avoiding power outages no complaints here.
  14. 60 mph wind advisory Monday posted this soon say what? From a Great Lakes low to boot. What did I say about strange weather.
  15. Could be the first below normal month since November. Last year it was Nov and March. Strange weather patterns.
  16. Snowing in Quakertown First flakes sighting since January
  17. Just a couple rumbles earlier and now windy as fook in Qtown. Next up a quarantine power outtage...
  18. Boomer at 4am was nice. Great to see the cold wave this weekend has moderated and the forecast mid month chill has been reduced to only slightly below normal.
  19. GFS April 16th Overall an unseasonable cold look mid month on the model suites as we meteorologically north pole it . Awful, didn't we talk about this happening in mid winter.
  20. Not a retrograde that one it moved NNW and cut inland of New England.
  21. Yeah it takes a humongous north atlantic block to retrograde a low like this, when do we ever get snow from that lol. But still trying to comprehend how we go from a rocket fast progressive flow to a retrograde low in a blink.
  22. A rare retrograde low coming to screw up the weekend that didn't even exist on the maps i was looking at three days ago
  23. Crazy active pattern through the long range we can't go more than 2 days without a disturbance crossing through, and this on top of the last two weeks. It's like an El Ninio pineapple express i don't get it.
