    The polar jet is breaking records this year and with La Nina weakening the subtropical jet I guess the cool and dry forecasts panned out, but was still nice to see snow at least though.

    It was a deformation band. IMO this looks like another cold front. Only way I take this seriously if the Euro is on board.

    I'm ready for spring now. With the jet so strong, looks like a blockbuster severe spring is on tap.

    Why are you so surprised? Over time climate change will keep cutting the average snowfall down until we do not get any. We have been extremely blessed to get what we got this winter and should be grateful.
