  1. Today was the 20th consecutive day of below normal temperatures at Central Park. Anyone know where to find out how long its been since we've had such a streak?
  2. I personally am not that offended by Central Park's measurement. Could it have been half an inch more? Probably. But not this massive discrepancy. Had 3.0" in Mott Haven. There was noticeably more snow once you got into western Queens and NW Brooklyn. Between 4-5".
  3. Front must have just crossed through here. Was warm and turned much colder with a gusty wind almost instantaneously.
  4. A few sleet pellets/mangled flakes in the south Bronx a few minutes ago.
  5. Most roads are ok. Rain heavy, but lightening up. Not quite as heavy as radar would indicate. Some minor flooding on the Bronx River but was still passable as of 15 minutes ago.
  6. Quite an intense storm in New Haven. Very heavy rain, strong winds, some lightning and thunder. Clouds were super dark and funky.
  7. Montreal, great, large, vibrant city, but still gets lots of snow and other interesting weather.
  8. Their December average is 38/19, so definitely in the middle of a cold snap now.
  9. Today was very localized around the city. Only a few drops of rain where I was in Jamaica.
  10. Could have gone to the beach. Sunny, warm, and humid.
  11. Central Park got down to 49, one degree away from the record low. Impressive.
  12. Absolutely loving this weather. Top 10 day here. Loving how sunny this spring has been. April had a high rainfall total, but Central Park only had 7 days with measurable precipitation. So far in May, its also only 7 days.
  13. Light snow now. Would say about 0.5" in the south Bronx. Biggest snowfall of the season so far!
  14. Moderate snow in the south Bronx. Heard a few rumbles before, didn't think they were thunder, but after the reports in this thread, possibly?
  15. Would estimate gusts to around 50mph near Newark in the last hour. A few rumbles of thunder now as well.
  16. Pretty moderate wind blown snow here around Newark. Eyeballing around 6" or so.
