Sure are. Cool dog to have but not for the average dog owner. Lots of attention and patients to train them. He gets pissed at me because I only spend 23 hours 59 minutes and 59 seconds a day with him

In credible the drop off in snow depth within just a few miles. Sort of like lake effect!

I lived in Woonsocket, RI at the time. My father in laws mom passed away. The wake Friday night was heavy windy rain. The funeral Saturday turned to heavy windy snow. By the time the mass ended and we went to the cemetery there was 6" of snow already on the ground. Wires and tree branches down everywhere. Woonsocket ended up with 2 feet. Drive just a few miles south or east and totals dramatically dropped off. 2" of rain to 2 feet of snow. Can't believe they went through with the funeral precession!

Going to finish with 9.99 LOL. The news at 6 said one station reported 11.63. Don't know if that was a trained spotter or a hobbiest. I didn't see any amount that high on wundermap for Cranston. Have to say though when the rain first started yesterday the rate was 5.34 and by far the loudest rain I've ever heard. You could here it coming. I live 1/4 mile from the highway and told my wife that's not the sound of cars from the highway. 2 minutes later massive rain drops and the defining sound it made. It was incredibly loud for about 5 minutes.

Under a flood warning now. Went by one of the places that typically floods in heavy rain. Was just starting to flood the street when I went by this morning on my way to work. Hard to see puddles in the road. Raining along with construction and barriers damming water. Ride in sucked this morning. Gave myself plenty of time.

This is what happened in that event. If we weren't in a drought this current rain event would have been almost as bad! Beginning with a Feb. 23-24 storm, the National Weather Service registered 4 inches of rainfall on its Warwick rain gauge. Another quarter of an inch fell between March 1-4 and from March 13-15 and March 22-23 the gauge logged another 3.7 and 3.4 inches, respectively. Add to that amount the 8.8 inches of rain that fell between March 29 and April 1, and Rhode Island was soaked by a total of 20.15 inches of rain in just 38 days.

I'm at 6.62. Looking at the radar through CT 10" isn't out of the question. Made up for the whole rain deficit in this are in 8 hours. I'm 61 and have been living here my whole life. Seen rain amounts like this more than a few times in 24 to 36 hours but this amount in less than half a day not even close. The first downpour the rain rate was 5.34 for about 5 minutes. it was absolutely defining. Closed my pool Saturday. Said yesterday maybe I should put the cover pump on the cover. Glad I did!!!
