    That is true. All the PoPs avoided MBY last week. Glad to get some heavy rain. One of these days we will have our Derecho. Gotta love how most of the models have been off since yesterday.

    Looking a bit better now with convection looking like it’ll move into SEMI

    Silver maple, cottonwood, Siberian elm are some others to be concerned with when it comes to wind and wet ground. Even locust trees. These already have weaker structures so to speak. Not a good situation with that rain/wind threat.

    Watching this outflow boundary interact right over head with the warm humid air is quite interesting. Watching clouds materialize west as back building looks like it’s about to begin.

    I’m noticing that to my SW. got a nice batch of cumulus in the past 20-30 mins. Hoping for one to pop by me so I can rain out haha

    Sun is definitely out a lot more than it was last two days. I agree should possibly make a run. Also will see how this afternoons convection is supposed to be. Mind as well keep the streak going.

    Storms over in Macomb and St Clair counties in MI seem to be back building into Oakland and extreme NE Wayne county.
