    One thing I like about arctic air is seeing the wind blow the pixie dust away from the squall and starts to cover the sky.

    Id rather have some rainers than nickel and dime snows honestly if that ends up becoming a possibility.

    It is understandable. Just got a little more than a dusting. Co worker in NW Monroe county sent me a pic and he got hammered. Glad we are still getting a snowpack slowly built up tho.

    I’m beginning to wonder where this 2-3” of snow forecasted today is. Mood flakes so far this morning working not far from KDTX radar

    It’s funny you say that. Was working up in Southfield and it was snowing most of the day with what seemed to be 1.5-2” otg. Then going home as soon as I hit 275/96 area it was all melted. Those degree or two variances made quite the difference.

    Looking at the wobble tracker and IR images it does look like it’s going more to the center of the forecast track the past hour or so

    Yeah it was two sets of “cannibal CMEs” doubt it’ll beat that but still should be a good show this weekend. Best case scenario is this first one which is weaker holds off on hitting the earth for another 16 hours. Then the stronger CME which is moving faster hits another 24 hours after the first so our magnetic field is weaker.

    Looking forward to a show down our way possibly. Our magnetic field is weaker during the autumn and spring equinoxes so we will get a stronger storm in response. Glad it’s on the weekend when I don’t work!

    Working out SW of Milan atm and the couple creeks I’ve been by barely have a flow to them. Lots of stagnant pools on these creeks. Ditches are bone dry and cracking. Farm fields have 6 inch deep cracks in spots.

    Heh was outside for that. Quite fun. Had a couple 50 bursts but nothing crazy. Outflow seems stronger to my NE though.

    I’m suprised a bit also. I figured that wouldn’t happen for another couple hours. Strong consistent rotation on that storm.

    MBY personally has been getting shafted when it comes to the Pops. And then there is where I’m working and it’s been a deluge over on the east side. Hopefully something DTW-TOL in the next few days before we go back to a cool pattern.

    Got mine heavily into weather after last years EF-0 hit within a quarter mile of my house. Now she’s always trying to figure out when the next severe weather event is.

    Got tree crews and lineman on the way from Detroit to help out with the damage in Chicago Metro area. Should arrive later today. We all help each other out!

    Yeah even I had some 50+ gusts. Knocked down a couple of my tomato’s even with cages on. Got some clean up to do after work with some of the limbs that came down.
