  2. The cold keeps reloading on the GFS after the 5th. What a cold but dry run. There were alot of energy running around on this run but there wouldn't be any storm threat if it's this cold
  3. I agree The Pacific keeps messing up our pattern every single year.
  4. A storm formed way offshore before this timeframe. The pacific keeps killing us.
  5. Matt was in his 40s I was on his forum for a little. Nice guy. He had a heart attack.
  6. I was forecasted to get 1 inch of snow after rain with temps in the 40s. The temps started to fall during the day into the mid 30s and the rain turned to snow earlier than forecasted. I turned on TWC ( Paul Kocin was on ) and he said the storm was bombing out earlier than modeled. I ended up with 5 inches. My whole family was shocked because they had to travel home in it. There was about 10 cars stuck right on my block. The sanitation did a horrible job during the storm. RIP atownwx DT said there was no chance of this storm coming back on the models LOL
  7. Too far out to say what's going to happen. The models could easily flip back . There is still cold around so I dont know why people are in panic
  8. Last week they were all in on a great January.
  9. Snowicane was really interesting I got 4 inches in the morning then turned to rain in the afternoon then turned to heavy thundersnow at night and received 14 inches. Boston was raining because of the track.
  10. I believe that storm was a Miller b.
  11. That makes my top 5. 19 inches from that storm. Alot of the huge storms appeared a week out. 2006, 2016 appeared a week out.
  12. I don't really remember that winter since I was only 5 I'm 31 I got 11 inches from Jan 2015. Upton's discussion was very eery for NYC. They had these words : Dangerous Crippling Blizzard on the way for the area. Euro and Nam had the huge totals while the GFS had only a foot and was right. Feb 2006 was also great. I got 19 inches in Brooklyn while Central Park got 26 inches. I was under a great snowband which produced 3-5 inches an hour rates.
