  3. Why does everyone think it's not going to stick in the city ? Alot of you will be in for a rude awakening if the colder trends contnue.
  4. This isnt the same setup as the last storm. What'd the point of going low ? These events usually favor the coast. The models went colder today. We have to see if that continues.
  5. 2-4 is a good call for NYC right now. These events like to juice up at the last second. Let's see if that happens here.
  6. Euro has a few inches in the city . It also shows a few inches towards DC.
  7. Euro is coming in colder and nice for the coast
  8. Who said we are only getting a coating ? We dont even know how much precip we will get.
  9. Few inches with more to the north. Heaviest is along the coast. These waves mostly favor the coast but temps are an issue. We have to work on that.

  11. Yep it doesnt hold back anything
  12. Reason ? This isnt your typical rain to snow. It's a wave along the front. Remember 2016? We got a few inches after the change over.
  13. I haven't seen 1 meteorologist that uses the snow depth maps.
  14. Gfs kuchera has a few inches for the city
  15. Front came through faster on the gfs which resulted in colder temps but weaker precip. The heaviest precip was along the coast. Let's get Nams precip and gfs temps and we will be golden.
  16. This can be a few inches for the city if the front can come through slightly faster with more precip. Nam was good. 1-3/2-4 for the city right now but it's not impossible for more. Too early yet to determine.
  17. It depends on the speed and the position of the trough. It's funny how people think it's only going to be a coating. This can see a few inches . It all depends on timing.
