Models are having a really tough time with all the shortwave associated with this storm. This happens all the time with Miller A storms. Eric Webb just posted stating how the models will not have a clue this far out.

So we never had snowstorms in a bad pattern? I'm guessing you think this storm is over 5 days out ?

Just get the timing right with the northern and southern stream and this storm will trend west. Plenty of time for that to happen.

Navy would be a nice solution First legit threat for the coast but there will be more ahead if the gefs and eps are correct .

How is this pattern bad ? A strong storm would be good for the area. People always worry everytime we track Miller A storms. It's hilarious.. It's all about timing

Better improvement from 0z. Its not going to take much to get a good snowstorm this weekend.

The setup isnt terrible at all. It's all about timing. NAO based off the tellies are going negative around this time.

The jet streak was impressive on the 0z run. The eps has some members with a nice snowfall for the coast.

Eps is still decent compared to the op and other models.
