    The ridge out west isnt meaningless. When was the last time this winter we had a great pacific ? Yes the models have been crap in the long range but I cant recall when the models had a big ridge in the west. We need a big storm in the east because I'm not sure it will be cold enough but the Euro would get it done. Cmc was close and gfs is an interior snowstorm with the gefs offshore.

    Euro and GFS agree on a strong coastal storm for the 30th with a nice pna ridge. One problem No cold air so it's a rainstorm Unbelievable

    Euro and gefs wants to send the MJO into the COD after phase 7. Maybe that will be our best shot.
