I know what it showed. Should I give up on winter because of the eps day 11-15? We need to be patient here

Next timeframe which has been showing up is mid month for a coastal . This might have legs with the MJO going into 8-1. AO still looks favorable. The models should respond more favorable if the MJO is correct .

Same here MJO looks great on all the models . The pattern forward looks more like an El Nino.

Actually I was ( I was posted 2 blocks away ) I worked there for 24 hours doing the detail. I ended up going to the hospital with my supervisor because he got hurt going to the cop stabbed. It was an insane night

That's based off the ukie and there is cold air on the model. This is a threat on all the models. Finally something to track.

That's not how it works if the pattern is improving but good luck .

You can do so The pattern is resembling more of El Nino as the pattern goes on. The pattern is modeled to get better with the mjo going into 8.

Eps failed with the colder pattern in December behind the gefs . What makes you think it's right when the MJO progression is going to become favorable?
