Or it can also keep trending eastward and then coming back northwest as we get closer to the event. This time you have a west based negative NAO, rising PNA and plenty of cold air.

Eps is further east and impressive this far out . All the ingredients are there for a huge storm but it is a week away.

0z eps has the PNA quickly rising around the storm timeframe and staying positive .
