    After an unusual period of inactivity, the MJO is finally back in action again. December 1st-December 3rd, 2021 MJO Phase: 6 (WPAC) Strongly expected to be in Phase 7 in the next few days from the models.

    Yes, the GFS was almost SPOT ON! But the Euro wanted to have none of it until it was too late

    The SSW appears to be stretching from Eastern Siberia to Central Canada, both the GFS & GEFS are showing this

    Need to watch Next Week & Next Weekend for snow, GFS & GEFS are in stronger agreement for snow during that time period, the areas that could have snow is Kansas, Oklahoma, NW Arkansas, & Panhandle & Northern Texas.

    0z GFS has Michigan divided in terms of Precip type, the Upper Peninsula will get snow, while the Lower Peninsula mostly gets rain, Northern Wisconsin, & most of Minnesota will also get the snow as well by Sunday. The backside of the system will bring another round of snow & colder Temperatures to the area Next Week, some areas will never get above freezing after Tomorrow until late next week for most areas

    Most models are picking up on a Stratwarm that will cause the PV to become unstable & possibly produce a cold wave by around Christmas week into New Years

    GEFS is still showing a good signal for snow in the Southern Plains next week. And most of the models are picking up the Stratwarm next week now.

    EPO is STILL being very Positive right now, the models are underestimating on how long it's lasting, even though I'm still predicting a cold blast sometime in December though.
