    Great job pulling this. Sure looks like LNS could move up that list quickly. For those wondering, Harrisburg's record is 35 consecutive days, which was also primarily an October phenomenon, with a date ending 10/27/47. A couple of others tied at 28 days.

    My low temp held until a little past 8:30 this morning, a surefire sign that the clocks are getting turned back soon.

    Since it's being bantered about, I don't think this month will end up as anything too special (probably ~2 degrees AN). I did my end-of-month chicken scratch and have us ending October with a mean temp of 58.1, which would be tied with 1990 for 22nd place all-time. The extent of the warmth on the last couple of days could throw a wrench into things but I'm pretty comfortable with that number. Book it.

    Low of 55. Have my eyes on a potential record warm Halloween (record is only 81). Also, if we don't add another drop of rain to the month, which seems likely, we'd tie 2000 for 5th driest October on record at .47". I've only had .03" at my house, which would supplant May of 2023 as my driest month since I began record keeping in 2011.

    Yeah things pretty much went as expected. I bottomed out with a 39, at which I'm currently still sitting. Some rain anywhere in the 240 Hr range would be......nice.

    You called? Low of 33 here. Should be a nice couple days to end the week as we head into an absolutely perfect weekend. Dare I say the best fire pit weekend of the year.

    No airports and no undue influence from any bodies of water, unless you count little ol' Grubb Lake a couple miles to my west ha. All in the land of Suburbia, with elevations ranging from 400-600'. I've said too much.

    I have an astounding nine active WU stations within a mile and a half of my house. I understand absolutely nobody asked for this information and it probably only excites me, but I felt compelled to provide it anyway. Carry on lads.

    40 when I left the house, although much cooler through some of the low-lying rurals where I spotted ample frost. Tonight should be colder over here.

    Yeah they'll probably still be a few tenths AN after this week. We'll see how low they can go (hint: not as low as everyone else ha).
