  1. A low of 69 and 1.12" of needed rainfall. Looks like those of us in eastern parts will have a chance for some scattered severe later this afternoon ahead of the frontal passage.
  2. Yeah this last band is adding up quick. Similar total here now. This will go down as a win.
  3. Over half an inch of glorious soaking rain here with some heavy stuff now hitting as well.
  4. All that action I've received has added up to a grand total of .11" over the last 2+ weeks, so not great ha. Let's cross our fingers and see what the next day or two bring.
  5. Saw that. Could sure use more H2O than that around here. And yes, yes they can. Very hard to predict where those bands of rotating showers will setup.
  6. Low of 64 with .01" of rainfall. MDT ends the month with a mean temp of 66.2 (T-12th all-time) and almost dead-on average precip at 3.82". National high of 112 at Rio Grande Village, TX and low of 24 at Angel Fire, NM. Looks like an Upper Level Low may dominate our pattern starting this upcoming weekend. Could be fun. Onward.
  7. MJS officially checking in for summer from beautiful west hempfield township. May our storms be bountiful, our beers stay cold, and our campfires burn hot. Cheers everyone!
  8. Wow, that is impressive. And then there were our friends in Mackay, ID, who bottomed out at 15.
  9. Just saw this. On a par three no less. She might have shot herself out of the tournament already. Damn.
  10. I'm going to end May with 2.76" but only about .1" over the final two weeks. I haven't mowed for 8 days but definitely need to do so. Hopefully have time either today or tomorrow.
  11. Low of 53 and .06" of rain. Not gonna cut it with nothin' but blue skies ahead. The cool nights and heavy dew should help though. Beautiful weather on tap, just exquisite. All windows open.
  12. 54 when I left the house. No rain, could sure use something today. Splendid week ahead.
  13. My crystal ball says we end the month with a mean temp right about where it is now, at 66.3 degrees -- good for 12th place all-time. Book it.
  14. Low of 64 and just .03” for the entire weekend.
  15. Not much happening on the radar. Never thought I’d have a 24 hour fire going here ha. Fresh made mojitos have the wife and I feeling just dandy on this humid memorial day.
  16. Indeed. Best chance has always been later in the evening but even that looks sketchy now. Really itching for a nice storm over here.
  17. Round one was a dud here, just .01”. Looks like things blew up just to my east. These storms are going to have to pack a heck of a punch to put out this rager we have going. Bring it.
  18. On the bright side, our fire stayed smoldering ever so slightly through the night so my son I were just able to get it back going. Time to burn through some brush before whatever rains form.
  19. A bit dismayed to see absolutely nothing in the rain gauge this morning. At least today’s storms look a little more robust and widespread. Low of 70 but cooler weather is on the way. Happy Memorial Day to all; let us not forget.
  20. Man, all these big totals and I got a measly .02”. Low of 61. Another hot one and then tomorrow should bring some action.
