  1. Low of 56 with heavy dew. Stunning morning. Another great day before heat starts to build.
  2. Was just going to post about this. Temps were significantly cooler than forecasted for much of the last seven days, so my 76.5 prediction failed to come close. Low of 60 here with .04" of 24-hr rainfall. It feels glorious out there, total contrast from yesterday.
  3. Got royally screwed over here, and no I’m not talking about what my wife and I just did in the mechanical room while the kids were napping. Rather, a barrage of storms on all sides within a couple of miles and no hits. At all. Caught the minuscule tail end of some back-building to the tune of .01”. Rats.
  4. Some boomers trying to track this way from the Manchester area. Hopefully they stay the course and hold together.
  5. Low of 73 with .37” of rain here. It’s thick out. Anxiously awaiting the cold front to sweep through, hopefully with some storms attached.
  6. How ‘bout it. This morning felt great when i took the dogs for a walk. Now it’s awful. But at least the breeze still kicks up.
  7. Low of 63. Humidity back on the rise. Looks like any rain here may not arrive until ~midnight.
  8. Certainly better the further north you go, which seems to be the theme lately.
  9. Low of 57. Beautiful day on tap. Really hope we get some beneficial rains down here this weekend but not feeling overly optimistic about it. Trends don't seem great.
  10. Yep. Lancaster really been getting the shaft lately. We really need this weekend to come through. Not holding my breath. But this is how it always goes in the summer, winners and losers and yada yada.
  11. Low of 65 here with only .23” of rain. Hopefully better results this weekend.
  12. I didn’t even hear any thunder. It looks like the midnight hour could be rocking out our way though.
  13. Got fringed bad here for round one, nary a drop. Hopefully things are more fruitful later.
  14. Low of 68 and currently 72/63. Looks like the bulk of the storm activity down this way may not occur until very late evening or overnight. May somewhat limit severe, as Canderson mentioned.
  15. 1943 and 1994 are hereby put on notice. I did my monthly chicken scratch and have us ending June with a mean temp of 76.5. This would be good for 2nd place all-time, sandwiched between the 76.8 of 1943 and the 76.2 of 1994. This weekend could be enough to put us over the top if things play out even hotter than forecasted. We shall see.
  16. There have been many occasions where I've tried to paste the screenshot version of a pic off my phone and still get the error message. It has worked at times, but rarely, and seemingly randomly. I have basically thrown in the towel on trying to post any pics, unfortunately.
  17. Outside of saturday, when I look at those temps in aggregate I kind of feel like the heat wave was a bit underwhelming. Safe to say the Euro was overdone? We declaring a model winner with this one?
  18. I also wanted to mention that one of the nights (either Fri or Sat can’t remember which) I only dropped to 78 for a low. Thought that was impressive. I haven’t checked but I assume we broke some records?
  19. Howdy. So, we had our annual summer party on saturday and I kept telling people how we were juuuust missing out on all the action as it slid by to our north. Sure enough, my one buddy who lives in Mt. Joy texted when he got home that they had some wind damage and the storms were pretty nasty there. Nothing here other than some scattered big drops. I did, however, get .25” from last night’s storms. I’m off today still trying to get everything cleaned up from our party and man does it feel great out. Honestly though, even for how bad the heat was saturday, people were totally fine sitting in the shade and everyone pretty much agreed it wasn’t THAT bad. I’m completely out of the loop on weather forecasting. We looking at anything significant in the week ahead?
