    12am Obs: Temp remains constant at 30 with very light snow and .8" of additional snowfall, for a total of 2.4". Yes, you read that correctly, even down here in the heart of Lancaster County, in what was supposed to be the best time period, I received less than an inch over the course of four hours. This storm is a bust down here, no other way to put it. Still, I will wake up in the morning and be happy to see white. Tracking begins anew tomorrow ha. Good night everyone.

    Very light snow of the barely-accumulating variety continues here with a temp of 30. It could not be more boring but I am determined to make it to my midnight observation ha. Carry on.

    Very light snow here the last couple of hours, not much additional accumulation. Even my neighborhood roads have barely a coating. Temp has dropped to 30 so that's something ha. I still plan on hanging until midnight.

    Yep, that's always been the bullseye. Will have to check in on my Hammonton buddy soon. Has to be pretty historic for them.

    The latest HRRR really wants to dry things up quickly and even has the bulk of Chester County now getting less than 6" post-7pm. What a bust that would be out that way. We've certainly seen worse but this is disheartening.

    That's remarkable, not sure we've ever had that kind of snow difference between us. I was wondering though, looking at the radar earlier, if things were having trouble making it your way. I have finally dropped below 32, to 31, but with the lightest snow of the event thus far. Again, not loving the radar.

    8pm Obs: Snowing moderately at 32 degrees with 99% RH. 1.6" of wet sticky snow has fallen. Can't say I love the radar presentation around my area but as long as it's snowing I'm happy. Steady as she goes. Time to put the kids to bed and give these margaritas the attention they deserve. Onward.

    My buddy in southcentral jersey says he currently has blizzard conditions (like most people he probably doesn't know the true definition but you know what I mean haha), only 3" so far but says it came quick.

    My wife went out and got us some Mexican so I made margaritas. I only say that to say that I'm staying up until midnight to watch this play out. Have work tomorrow but plan on taking an 8pm and 12am observation before hitting the sack. Let's squeeze out what we can!

    Accumulation efficiency still an issue here as I've been snowing steadily, even heavily at times, for over an hour and still only have a quarter inch. Temp has finally dropped to 32 so that should help. It looks great on the trees though ha.

    Temp down to 33 with steady snow. All non-paved surfaces finally starting to cave. The big story of the storm is wasted qpf. We talked in the days leading up about inefficient accumulation with these temps and that has certainly played out, and then some. With that said, these next few hours is the business and will tell our story.

    And that's what those of us east of the river fear, as it likely leaves us in a subsidence zone. Our totals over here are going to be dependent on the reach and duration of the coastal. That hole over Lancaster has been showing up pretty consistently though.

    Temp of 35 and dropping as the switch is underway here. Now I need to go wipe off the puddles from my measuring table haha.

    Temps seem to finally be on the retreat. Some people in our neck of the woods should start flipping soon as the better returns move in from the southeast.

    Haha if the screw zone makes it all the way to you god help us all. The folks far enough across the river may actually end up doing better than us if that norlun sets up over them. There will still be some fun to be had tonight.

    HRRR continues the slow crawl back (see gif below). Has been pretty consistent in us switching to all snow around the 5pm timeframe. Then we get what we get from there. Should at least see some decent rates during the dark hours.

    I just did. It can be confusing because they stupidly have two different maps on different tabs but the one I posted is the updated one. It's timestamped later. They have cut back on totals, as expected.

    All you can do is laugh! What's becoming pretty clear is that a subsidence screw zone is likely to setup somewhere between say @Itstrainingtime and @CarlislePaWx. Question is exactly where but you reside right in the middle of that swath soooooo not great haha.

    They only thing I have been certain of during the entire tracking period of this storm is that my buddy in Hammonton, NJ is going to get absolutely mollywhopped haha.
