  1. Snowing nicely at the moment in Manhattan. Looks beautiful out. The mostly forgotten dead end street outside my apartment has the tinest coating of snow on it. A success in my book!
  2. First accumulating snow in Grinnell, Iowa. I didn't measure but it's probably no more than 1.5 inches. I'll take whatever we get at this point.
  3. I would much rather cold than warm. At least when it's cold you can still get 2-4 inch events instead of winter rain...
  4. Timing is very fluid so it's hard to point to one frame but more than a few hits on the GEFS right now, even for coastal areas
  5. GEFS ensembles hinting at the possibility of something next week but it's still all over the place.
  6. Can't deny the signal. But I wouldn't put money on snow especially in the City and LI.
  7. First flakes here in Grinnell, IA. Really nothing more than white rain but still nice to see.
  8. This thread is full of... optimism? Is everyone all right?
