  1. First accumulating snow in Grinnell, Iowa. I didn't measure but it's probably no more than 1.5 inches. I'll take whatever we get at this point.
  2. I would much rather cold than warm. At least when it's cold you can still get 2-4 inch events instead of winter rain...
  3. Timing is very fluid so it's hard to point to one frame but more than a few hits on the GEFS right now, even for coastal areas
  4. GEFS ensembles hinting at the possibility of something next week but it's still all over the place.
  5. Can't deny the signal. But I wouldn't put money on snow especially in the City and LI.

  9. Didn't get a blizzard but it's been snowing since 10AM this morning in the city. Trees got a coating and look beautiful. Going back to college in Iowa in the morning.
