    I was lurking here about 10 days out of the "Debacle 02/20" storm and seeing the clown maps and watching the guys I trust here on forum @Bob Chilland @stormtrackerthat actually knows some things. I just think the Polar Vortex was just to strong for the low slid to the south and just push it out to Atlantic. I truly miss the "Snowmeggdon" and "Snowzilla", these were my experience of a lot snow in my life time being from Texas and living in NoVA.

    based on VA traffic cams in Blacksburg, VA, looks like it snowing there now and matchs the radar as well.

    Just trying to understand why post long range or even medium ranges that later just vanish to mid Atlantic reason. I understand these are computer models that have potentials. Sometimes, I see here of whishcasting that never pans out. Yea this maybe a banter comment here, but I watch the tread when everyone was hoping Jan 5/6 event that seems to have just disappear and now we are looking more than two weeks for another event possible.

    well, most should be off for MLK Day, but I say the snow just a tad earlier. Watched local forecast, nothing mention of snow through Monday morning hours, not even a stinking WWA, whats up that.

    My apologies, he said DC, did not know that he would stay in Manassas. I was just stating that in DC, the fence's and other stuff are still up from inauguration.

    Just a suggestion, don't yell at messenger. If work related, come back forum on Thursday/Friday, as you seem to be following along as well. Then start making decision then to cancel, once at DC with this event you maybe stuck here for a day/two possibly. If not for work related, not worth coming to DC when everything is still pretty much either fenced up or boarded up. Plus all federal properties, double mask mandated.
