  1. O.8" yesterday 0.7" this morning Grand total of 1.5", Cornelius by Lake Norman
  2. Today's model runs were the last straw lol. Too little moisture transport as the Gulf t-storms will rob us early on and, as you mentioned, location of the pivot. I am preparing for a dusting in Cornelius, and anything else will be icing on the cake (pun intended).
  3. All freezing rain on the NAM here. Will pass on that. Give me the cold rain again please and thank you.
  4. Welcome to the Lake. I'm in Cornelius. NWS saying around 2 inches here. Local mets calling for a snow, sleet, and freezing rain slop that will probably cut that total in half. We shall see.
  5. Looks like snow chances are drying up for Lake Norman/North Mecklenburg.
  6. Darn. This is more cold rain for Lake Norman. Need that 546 line to be further south.
  7. 34 and rain by Lake Norman in Cornelius
  8. Keep that 1" of ice out of the Piedmont please. I like electricity lol
  9. 1.5" of snow 0.5" of sleet 0.2" of ice Cornelius, NC Not terrible but still disappointing
  10. It will be 60 degrees next week around Lake Norman. May get one more chance mid-late February. I am ready for 80 degrees and pool weather.
  11. Scenes from the crunchy, frozen tundra of Cornelius, NC:
  12. Sleetfest in Cornelius the past hour and a half or so. Today was a snow, sleet, freezing rain, and sleet sandwich. It is crunchy out there.
  13. Foothill posters switching back to snow gives us Piedmont folks a glimmer of hope that it happens here too.
  14. Have switched to freezing rain here in Cornelius. Even though radar returns show snow. This was not forecast to happen until after midnight. Ice accumulations here may end up way higher than the 0.10 inch originally thought.
  15. Snow to sleet now in Cornelius, Lake Norman. About 0.4-0.5 inches of snow accumulation before the transition. Hope we get a switch back and back snow thump before this over. Still a nice coating on everything!
  16. I need some pretty colored model runs to look at and obsess over...
  17. Thanks! Hope you all get yours soon! After 1 AM, I was beginning to lose hope. None of the radar returns over us were reaching the ground. And then at 1:45, the bottom dropped out. These flakes were fat, and the accumulation was some of the softest snow I've experienced here. It was like touching cotton candy.
