    there was always rain there in the winter sure alot more snow but it does rain in winter

    probably because that run didnt have the blob of the NC to start off like 12z curious to see if 0z brings it back..

    so had to look what you average but according wiki you get 1.58 inches of rain in January and 27 inches of snow record high is 62

    snow map shows almost 10 here I would take that followed by a little rain then the cold sweeps in and turns the pack into a glacier sign me up

    NAM has some snow for eastern areas Friday now
