    Well, looking at 12z today....I guess we have a consensus, at least around here at least. Little to no impact with more rain coming. OKX definitely knows how to forecast snow events around here, set the bar low and stay there. Thanks for the props on the sig, easy to read by all, if they want to anyways....

    Too early and it lacks the cold, too late and it is too far SE.....we need the perfect timing, hopefully we can thread the needle this one time This Icon run seems to get in here quicker, precip here by Sunday morning

    With the way this system is dancing around with the cold air to the north, SE is probably ok for now. Too early and its congrats PF, too late and its congrats to the fishes....As many have pointed out, very thread the needle situation....probably have to wait until Saturday 12z to get a better idea

    We have chased a lot of snow around here recently that started around 180 hrs or so only to have it fall apart within 100 hrs....hopefully this continues to trend favorably at this point

    One huge positive right now, its start precipitating around 108 hrs.....not 150. Almost time for the Nam to start showing 40" of snow

    Snowing nicely here, close to half an inch. 32.2⁰, so it will be gone by morning

    4.6", but the first half of it ended up with mixing and melted some of it. We also dry slotted early on....pretty sure Luke had a couple more than I did

    Can it just snow enough to get some sledding in already? I dont need 2 ft, just a nice 6-10 would be amazing....Thinking this one might be our best shot in the last 2 years? Still low chance, but at least something to track at this pt

    Definitely a flinch towards the GFS with that OP look.....hopefully we can dance around in a snowglobe while the rest of the country bakes.....

    "Torching" down here to start, already 38° and raining steadily, forecast was 34. Good luck up north.... Looks we need we need to wait until at least the 2nd week in February down here for anything wintry....

    I only hit 8°, I expected at least 0°....it was crystal clear and calm winds last night when I had the dog out. Definitely did not radiate like I expected, especially with some snow cover

    It is needed around here....While the landscape has a nice winter vibe to it. The layer of ice under the snow makes walking (especially a dog) around dangerous and sledding for the kids is pretty much impossible. So lets thaw it out and get some real snow in here before spring starts. If grading winters based on sledding days, we are behind last year at this point (6 days to 2)...

    Has been snowing non stop since 8 am, roughly 1.1" so far....beautiful out, 27.1° atm

    haha, lets keep this atmosphere moist for tomorrow so we can pull off a couple of inches Legit light snow, just started to accumulate on everything besides the heavily salted roadway

    I agree, sample size needs to be bigger, maybe this is all a bad memory in a few years and we can go back to arguing about jackpots....But was it bad luck during those other periods or just a bad pattern? CC has accelerated, but was still a factor back then as well, so who knows....Hopefully the GFS has a clue about next week, would finally be something that is in our favor
