  1. Kill that kicker and we go back to a slower and stronger storm.
  2. If that’s all that I had to go on, I’d say the euro would be the better solution
  3. I’m with you. It’s that piece behind our sw that’s causing this. As you said that piece is over the North Pacific. I expect that’s gonna change in future runs. Not necessarily better though.
  4. As for me and grandpa, we believe
  5. If you loop the last few runs of the gfs on the Atlantic side there isn’t much change. But now there’s a big chunk of energy that has all of a sudden showed up in the sw. Looks to me like that acts like a seesaw and kicks our sw north. That piece is currently over the North Pacific. Not drawing conclusions, just how it looks on the gfs.
  6. The gfs trend was better. I think this is just the back and forth we would expect to see. Time will tell.
  7. This is right about the time, even in our best historic storms, that you start to see some solutions that aren’t favorable. The big storms of course correct back to the good solutions.
  8. Heights in the MA are actually lower. Trough is sharper though so not totally disagreeing but those lower heights here could keep it in about the same place.
  9. Exactly what I said multiple times last night. Snow on the ground = at least some cad and the scenario you wrote
  10. That’s the one the I think even if it cuts it runs into cad, mainly because of snow on the ground
  11. I’ll tell ya that I think a deep snow cover might change that one too. I could easily see a further east track and tons of cad. Still a cutter/jumper but front end thump to icy
  12. You could see that piece of energy was just a little sharper by 96 and that made a big difference
