Probably the best it has looked satellite wise.
Just aesthetically at least.

Looks like it’s dying. Whole west side is basically gone. Front is ripping it apart. Some Bermuda Triangle voodoo?

Trying for an eye? Looks close, has cleared out a decent amount.

I don't mind someone being silly and a little off topic here and there. I definitely do it too. Thing that did it for me was being rude to people for no reason.

Should start improving soon I’d bet. It’s feeling the moisture north and it should help with the dry air.

i think you need to make yourself a cup of herbal tea, sit down, watch some jerry springer or something and relax so you don't taint the image of us Long Islanders being crazy.
The New England tropics thread has about two pages of psychology discussion about social media lmao

remember forecasts are used as a whole they include many models.
if we just use the peak models all the time the world would be a huge disaster if those were always the overall storm outcome lol
Yeah that’s kinda like using the 90th percentile for snow maps.
Edit- Nice to look at but generally never happens.

Still looks like crap, probably why intensity forecast have come back a little. Will a weaker storm change the track much?

Think you might be a bit obsessed with comparing storms to other storms.

None of that shows a closed vortex at the low levels as I cannot see low level westerlies. There is some mid level spin present, but no indication of a TC at this time. Satellite imagery, especially IR satellite, can play tricks
Just saying it’s looking more organized the last 4 hours or so. It’s already close to getting a name anyway, up to 70% within 48 hours now.

Literally not true. It has happened a lot recently for Atlantic Canada but NE had two cat 3’s in one season. Small sample size. Lots of cat ones and tropical storms.
They get 3-5 every year versus 0-2 for this area. Which was the point of their post…

Lol, “HE” doesn’t even exist yet. Just a swirl of clouds.
Bet there is a psychology student somewhere using this forum for their thesis on mental instability.
