  1. 1.61" here now as of 1 pm, pouring out First time since April 25 with over an inch here
  2. 0.95" here seems like the actual heavy stuff is hitting the city and nassau more but it looks like its making its way into western suffolk now unless it fizzles out

  5. 92/72 heat index at 100 already. The breeze makes it feel alright in the shade
  6. Farmingdale Airport peaked at 102 today, probably the first time it's ever had 2 100+ days in a row
  7. 99/72 here, heat index 109 Peaked at 101.2 before the seabreeze went through TRIPLE DIGITS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 15 YEARS HERE

  9. Idk if you hit it last year but last time I remember widespread 100s on the south shore was 2011, I peaked at 99 last june and yesterday

  12. 82/72 currently this morning, we jumped up to 88 from 78 at around 3 am when the wind veered to the nw from the south
  13. Peaked at 99 here today (well really 98.7), farmingdale airport only a couple miles to my north hit 101. I hit 99 last year during that record June heatwave as well. I think the last time i legitimately hit 100 was probably July 2011
  14. 95/73 seabreeze made temps drop a degree or so but humidity is spiking, heat index at 105
  15. 96 here in lindenhurst still but dewpoint down to 65, farmingdale airport up to 99.

  17. High of 85 here, not too impressive on the south shore. Max heat index was 93
  18. About 0.18" from the storm this morning, Only had 0.62" for the entire month of june
  19. I don't know how true it is, but i saw on Twitter/X that an Iraqi or Iranian hacker group took down the nws website as well as the ecmwf website
  20. Is the NWS website down for anyone else?
  21. Only about a tenth of an inch overall here in Lindenhurst Edit: 0.11" to be exact
