    My rain gauge overflows at 5" and it overflowed at some point today. Pretty steady rain out there right now.

    4.2" here. Really cold and windy this morning. Lots of leaves ripped off the trees.

    Almost 4" as of now. Still breezy and misting so we might get that far by tomorrow morning. Thank God for heat pumps.

    Just surpassed 3.5" here so far for storm totals and raining pretty heavy right now.

    Probably but we're not getting anywhere near 40mph gusts. Maybe 15-20 gusts if I'm being generous. Basically just an overcast breezy day here now.

    Nice evening here, it actually warmed 3F while we were eating dinner in North Beach. I'd say this storm was pretty much a total bust, barely even a breeze out now. I'll take the 2.5" of rain for sure though. No complaints here.

    Hello Clarice! Deaths head hawkmoths. They're quite unlike any moth I've ever reared, and I've reared thousands. Like furry tarantulas with wings. And they squeak really loud when you touch them.

    Nice, should be gorgeous up there I'm betting. Id love to put blizzaks on the G, or any of our cars really. Until we build the cabin we're just going up there for a weekend every now and then and it snows like 2 days a year down in SoMD so I think it'd be a waste. Once we build the cabin and spend a lot more time up there I'm down for dedicated snow tires. Just bought Benson a puffy dog jacket because he's a wuss in cold weather. He's gonna have to toughen up.

    Woke up this morning and anxiously checked radarscope...couldn't even find where Ian was. Seems like a bust heck wouldn't be surprised to see some sun at some point today. It is breezy out but rain was meh.

    We're heading up there next weekend and it's.looking like low 30s for lows at 3k ft. Gonna have the wood stove going in the tent, can't wait! Got some muddin' tires for the G so we can get up the mountain in the mud and snow!

    Already wind advisories down here in Calvert. Gusts up to 50mph near the shore.

    I've been streaming it at work but it just went blank. Might've lost Naples.... Eta I see they're still posting up still shots, maybe just bandwidth issues with everybody streaming. Can't believe those two structures are still intact!

    I'm afraid to go check WB, JB must be basking in all his glory. To his credit he was very early to call a Tampa hit and didnt waiver even when the models were shifting westward.

    JB is all over this hurricane like stink on shit. Will be interesting to see if it comes in north of Tampa. My wife goes to Tampa a lot...I hate Tampa with a passion. Time will tell.

    That's gorgeous. Sometimes I take for granted how beautiful the bay can be. Shots like this remind me to appreciate where we live.
