Was in the locker room after my workout this morning and this one teacher guy was bragging to another dude about how they were probably gonna call off local schools due to 15-18" of snow midweek. The other guy said he just heard a dusting to 2". First guy was in disbelief. I kept quiet to myself, I imagine sort of like a former POW does when he overhears two guys bellyaching about having to cut their lawns on Saturday.

Just because you're not jack doesn't mean you can't get good snows. A NW jog to put SoMD at jack would also move the heavier snows up though the DC corridor.

I'm gonna ride atmospheric memory for this storm. SoMD has been jack all season and will do so again which should be good for the rest of the forum as well.

Maybe Bastardi and PSU will gain redemption on this storm. In case anybody has forgotten, JB did call Sandy before other mets.

Man I made the mistake of coming here first instead of weatherbell when I woke up. Based on posts I was expecting 70F and sunny next Thursday. Instead the models are still showing a foot of snow. Shoulda went to WB first and avoided the blood pressure spike.

I was about to mention, there was supposedly a set of storms in the 1940s some time where SoMD got like 40" of snow over the duration of them and a lot more than DC. Maybe it was that time period?
