Snowing lightly here, 37F.
-
Mix of sleet/snow, currently 32F.
-
Morning low of 18 here. One of NY radio mets stated that the mid month time frame needs to be watched. I would hope that this cold winter will defuse upcoming spring allergies a bit.
-
Topped out 50 here today. Next week looking wet, might be a good time to change the oil on the snowblower & stow it away in storage after the 15th of this month.
-
NWS has temps near 50 on Saturday.
-
Judging from radar, it looks like the clipper should be out of here by 9AM.
-
30F here, an 1" OTG. Slick spots on the Hutch, auto body shops promote this kind of wx.
-
NWS has temps progged to be near 40 here from Weds thru the rest of the week.
-
Total of 18'' of snow OTG here, but the blizzard of 1996 is still tops in my book.
-
Currently 15'' OTG on the ground here as of 9AM. Strongest wind gust thus far was 45mph earlier this AM.
-
Light precip mix now over to snow.
-
Temp now down to 30F here.
-
Precip mix has now changed over to all snow here.
-
32F here with a snow/rain mix.
-
Would think NWS will need to post high wind watches tomorrow for the area. That 969 LP is characteristic of a high end CAT 1 OR low end CAT 2.
-
Some people are going to be sitting in the dark tomorrow night.
-
978 low-pressure is pretty strong, that's comparable to a CAT 1 cane intensity.
-
Delayed version of the January thaw about to rear it's ugly head this upcoming week.
-
It reached a high of 27 early yesterday AM before the artic front passed & temps nose dived. Currently 2F.
-
Temps progged to be in the 40's here late next week.
-
Currently 5F here in the Berkshires, we lost power a few (now on generator) hours ago. Getting ready to drive up to Stowe VT for family get together for 2moro's super bowl party. FWIW It's a balmy 13 back in HPN.
-
Reached a high of 34 here today, after a morning low of 17.
