  1. There is an AI yoda that posts warning text to cover down times.
  2. Back to 97 for the 3:52pm ob. Chance for 100 is shot, but we were either 98 or 99, which is a big number as we get into late August.
  3. Got the W wind to push us up by a tad. DP down to ~66. Tied the record, might as well try to push for triple digits.
  4. DCA 97, now 1 shy of the record. I think the river is finally warm enough that the winds aren't really hampering the temps.
  5. 99 on the tarmac at BWI. New daily record high. 95 at IAD has tied the record.
  6. 96 so far at DCA. Record is 98.
  7. Putrid is my observation. Summer needs to end.
  8. A bit surprised at the size/shape of that box.
  9. Yeah, the Philly game has more snow, but Vikes-Ravens had the insanity. Just sad that Baltimore had the ball last.
  10. I know we have another half hour to go, but I’m starting to get a bit skeptical about this model projection from earlier today.
  11. 19z HRRR is good for entertainment value. Probably still too much near Burke.
  12. Effectively. https://www.radarscope.app/guide/radarscope-products-dual-polarization
  13. It has weakened some since hitting IAD flush. Winds are weaker and the other rain indicators are less. Still a nice cell, though.
  14. 0.93" total. Just needs to do that every week.
  15. 2nd lightning hit that affected the electrical. Up to 0.7”
  16. Rain and lightning and thunder. Good summer storm. And there was a nice 5 second power outage.
  17. The heaviest rain is headed right at me, but I’ve been fooled before.
  18. Should at least be raining and thundering there. No idea what it’ll look like when it gets to me. Sitting on the front stoop watching the light show is pretty good though.
  19. That is a very impressive lightning display.
  20. 1.79" since the deluge on 7/8. 50% of climo rainfall during the hottest part of the year is going to fry stuff no matter what happened before that.
