Was not expecting the almost 2" rain imby today. Flood advisory for Northern Charlotte and NE Suburbs expire in an hour or so. When we finally have a week of 85+ with straight sunshine, just wow! Hate humidity tho

Raining and 37 in Concord NC.... I saw the "confirmed reports" of sleet above and almost broke a leg getting the window up... then realized they were from hours ago. And probably not real anyway.

I remember when I was living In Bucks County PA just above Philly we had a super wet wet snow event on Halloween day I believe. Leaves hadn't all fallen and I can remember the limbs of the trees cracking and it literally sounded lime a gun fight outside for hours. I enjoyed it up until that. Then was a hit freaked out. Not to mention it cost 3k+ for cleanup afterwards. -

So the energy around texas and Arkansas l, and the energy popping up in the gulf...I should expect all that to dry up as the day progresses? Wow. Interesting. -

Agree 100000% I love thunderstorms but abhor the heat and humidity. I would do well at about 5000ft in our mountains. I want to always have a breeze with days no warmer then 68 and summer nights around 50. That's my perfect summer wx. -

WBTV was about it last night but this morning AL Conklin said maybe the mountains would see a FEW flakes mix in with rain. Lolol I'm over this winter... unless something big comes our way I am signing off. -

WBTV surprised me this evening. Has precip starting around 1-3am Sunday morning. Showed 2 models both with some wintry precip for CLT. No mention of amounts. -

Good lord.. we are still just a bit less then 100hrs from onset! Hello?? Have you forgot last week's insane back and forth the models were doing regarding Friday's event? Hell, the Mets in Charlotte didn't get the forecast right until halfway through the storm.. lol..
