    Thursday and this weekend look to favor the Pike North if not Rt 2 area north. South of the pike with Elevation may score 1-2” of slop out of both events; will see if this changes.

    Question, how much credence in the long range? Long range models have struggled all season with any kind of consistency; need to see these threats there within 5 days.

    Down to 4F so far this am; deep winter conditions! Ponds and lakes must be in the 6-10” range of ice thickness. When’s the January thaw?

    One of the bright spots is that Ski Areas have been able to maintain conditions despite our lack of snow so far this season.

    Thought there was talk yesterday that the core of the cold wasn’t going to make it in here? We have been down to 1-2F already this season, and I am expecting about the same.
