  1. Whatever the record is, pretty sure it happened in '98
  2. Yeah, pretty much. Every single one has shown snow for the region at some point. The EURO may not be what we want...but it still consistently has at least a little snow for everyone. The CMC started this whole mess (first to show 12"+)
  3. Why? Or am I reading this wrong? At this point we should be waiting and seeing...
  4. GFS...EURO.... blah What does the JMA have to say?
  5. Wait...worst as in worst? Or worst, as in worst?
  6. Still there with the 12Z. Hurricane season starts in May now (not sure whether to put a period or question mark there)
  7. Well, in the winter months. I think Isabel (and the derecho?) may take issue with that claim.
  8. 16 Jan: 2.5 28 Jan: 1.2 Total: 19.7" Really shouldn't complain at all about the 'should have beens', I mean I'm going to, but it's been a good year so far.
  9. Just writing this here so I don't forget... Next week I will be a week away from a couple days away from predicting we don't "flip" until March.
  10. e) Only to return on tomorrow's 12z Yesterday it was on the 29th, today it's on the 30th, I imagine tomorrow will push the storm to the 31st. End January with a bang.
  11. Roger. Knew that and wish I had a better excuse....just wasn't paying attention
  12. Per the NAM, DC proper starts switching over around noon... The further north the sooner.
  13. Maps or it didn't happen Should be a fun afternoon commute....
  14. When was the last time DCA had this many separate 1"+ events in January? If our collective wishes come true, Thursday would make 4 with possibly 5 before the week is out. Has to be some sort of record...
  15. Measured 2.5" in most places. Near complete changeover to sleet now. 24.4
  16. Coming down pretty good, haven't measured yet but have to be nearing an inch if not there already. 23 degrees.
  17. Bumping this to post my totals while they're still relevant. I imagine in a few days, we will begin the slide to the back of the pack, but it was nice for the south and easters to be on top for a while (that's what she.....nm) 3 Jan: 13.5" 7 Jan: 2.5" Total: 16"
  18. Looks like many will hit or be above (I'm already above) climo from this storm. By mid January. In a La Nopenotthisyeara. There's reason to be not so gloomy this year
