  1. Just over 20" of snow - two 6"+ events. Snow was on the ground for almost a month. Jan and Feb below normal temps. Have to go with A. Things that would have made it better: That Feb. miss....man, that was painful; and Dec was blah. I really don't care that much about March sucking for winter weather this year. We did good down here, so, bring on the 70s. Edit: Just seeing Cape's post. I should have just said ditto, lol
  2. Yeah I was going to say, flakes fall all the time (not all the time, but it's not that rare) in April, even down in the cities. Doesn't stick or amount to anything, but they fall...
  3. Sheesh, don't think I've updated since then. Jan. 16 and Feb. 8 snow fell from the sky. Enough for a dusting on Jan. 16, but not counting... 1/10 - 1" 2/11 - 8.5" 2/19 - .25 Total to date: 20.25"
  4. Southern MD is the new Northern MD ...not really even joking...
  5. Go big or go home! I'm going to need DCA to slow down a bit and the others to catch up please. Can't believe I may have been to low on DCA
  6. Touch over 8" on the deck. With over 10" the first storm, this'll push me over 20" for the year. Not too shabby.
  7. The pic I posted was on the deck. Measured multiple places in the grass and 5.5" so far is the overwhelming consensus.
  8. Lol Slanted This is the real picture Eta: not sure why the other pic posted. Was not intentional deception. Sorry
  9. That was 58 minutes ago. Now:
  10. Just got home and my deck looks fantastic. My deck is growing fast! So excited Just over 2" so far
  11. Wasn't the best of- What does this even mean??? Do you know where we live!? Imagine us...US complaining about doubling our snowfall totals to date.
  12. In the last 10 years, how many times have we had this type of run to run consistency, on multiple models, showing these amounts, this far out?
  13. One of the the longest "I told you so"s ever
  14. Oh no. The Canadian was also showing temps in the mid 70s for the 6th... I mean, it is showing mid 40s now. And snow a couple days later. But...it did show that at one point.
  15. Haven't been to a game yet, but I'm assuming it has to be a vast majority of away team fans
  16. There isn't a team in the NFC we can't contend with. If we had just made it to the playoffs, then people could make the argument that it was fluky. But we made it to the NFC Championship game....with this roster. That's not a fluke. Even with no improvements and this team stays as it currently stands, our toughest games next year (outside of the NFC East) would be AFC West games. The NFC North have shown they can be punched in the mouth and back down. If they couldn't beat this team, what are they going to do against a protected Daniels or against a more reliable Commanders defense? This current team, which made it to the NFC championship game, should be the worse team of the Dan Quinn/Adam Peters era (injuries and whatnot aside). Those teams have a tough schedule...because of us
  17. I definitely agree we need to get rid of Lattimore. But I don't think it was necessarily the old way of doing things. Maybe a little. He was hurt sure, but there was no other reason to think he wouldn't be able to help right away. We was (on paper) much better than anything we had on the roster. We needed the help, he should have been able to help. But...lesson learned. Time to move on from him. Our whole D needs to be revamped/improved. Along with the O line, running back is certainly a priority on offense. With cash money to spend and being a legit contender, with folks wanting to come here....it's going to be an interesting offseason! Can't wait to see what Peters and gang cook up!
  18. lol, barring consistent extreme record breaking warmth in the next 7-10 days...I doubt it. Soil temperatures now compared to the past two years are vastly (20 degrees?) cooler. Even DCA has only had 3 nighttime lows above freezing. And two of those were the 1st and 2nd.
  19. Snow finally trying to take over the sleet. The ground is white at least...
  20. Still have close to 4" from the 10"+ on my deck from 1/6, so it was time for us to share the wealth.... Sleet here, and there is a layer on the cars, but not sure we'll see a changeover quick enough for anything but conversational.
  21. Amazing. Just amazing!! When teams have IT, it's hard to stop it. The Commanders have it. Looking up hotels in New Orleans right now
  22. Looks like 1976 was the last time, lol Edit: All late. Those replies did not show up!
  23. 1/3 - .5" 1/6 - 10" (T on 11/22, sleet on 12/24) Total to date: 10.5"
