    Yeah, a little more than half of the runs are 1" or less for the majority of folks.....in a marginal temp situation thats white rain. I mean its cool to see quite a few big hits but Id like to see more moderate solutions than there are. We'll see.

    Honestly though, I think blowing that whole thing up is kind of dumb. Being a geography major and weather enthusiast, I know the Kansas/Missouri/Chiefs geographic set up and most on here probably do but most of the generally public probably doesn't. Also I'm sure most residents of Kansas root for the Chiefs, maybe even more so than Missouri. So even though the Chiefs play in Missouri, that win was for both states, generally speaking.

    Yeah and I bet kids have seen worse than some pelvic thrusting in this day in age with the internet and social media. I know even I saw things I shouldnt have at age 12/13 and that was back in like 2002 when the internet was just starting to explode

    Mid week next week kinda has my interest...At 216 theres a strong storm in the the Tennessee valley and a nice high in Canada...it would only take some minor shifts verbatim, to make that a winter storm here and not a rainer. But of course that storm could disappear on the 12z gfs

    Yes I remember that. I was away at college at Millersville. We got about 1” or so there I think and just northeast I believe got like a foot lol crazy.

    Yeah, I just dont remember him being like that a few years back. I used to like him and think he was good. Im sure hes a great person, but his "weenie-ism" is certainly getting in the way of making good forecasts. Of course its different on air

    His context sucks and its borderline hyping and model hugging. Layman people see this and say oh a chance of snow this weekend!...Just my opinion but if he wants to continually throw it out there (Which he does every single day) then at least provide the context that its unlikely to accumulate to much if anything.

    Even there its marginal at best and if signifcant rates arent involved its mostly white rain and limited accums...I know we're desperate this winter but this aint the one

    Jeez, does it really matter? We're tracking baby unicorns here. Even if this thing does track west enough, its progressive with limited phasing and moisture so its a nothing burger for 75% of this forum...maybe you people that have significant elevation have hope, but otherwise this is nothing and pretty much has been nothing.

    Thats true some but I do also see the "average joes" who can somewhat interpret what a weather model shows and looks at them often and thinks they suck because of the degree in change but dont understand how sensitive some patterns are to small synoptic shifts that cause a relatively drastically different outcome.
