  1. My favorite all time player is Griffey. Makes sense since that was when I was growing up (90s). My favorite pitcher I would have to say was Mike Mussina. Shame the dude played for such bad Os teams
  2. Should be able to at least toe one off the end of the bat against him lol. Just kidding. What a difficult pitcher to square up though.
  3. Yeah, Essex Express got real big in the late 90s and 2000’s. Basically it was a bunch of us who grew up together in the same neighborhoods (Essex, Dundalk, Perry Hall) and we were all pretty good. A lot of us also played for Eastern Tech. I played with a guy named Ryan Rivers who was drafted by the Angels back in like 2013 or so. We were basically the team, so you wouldn’t have heard of Essex Express before 1998 or so or after 2010 or so lol
  4. Update-the beer has held up very well in the growler for 5 days...delicious!
  5. Yeah I’m a little younger lol. I’m 32, most of my baseball played that wasn’t just peewee type crap was from 99-2010’
  6. I played for a team called the Essex Express...lots of travel type tournaments. in later years it was apart of the susqeuhanna semi pro league. The highlight I mention playing at the Braves spring training stadium was when I was 16
  7. Nice. I played baseball for about 18 years myself. From about 5 to 23. Played in a travel league, I’d say my biggest highlight was playing in the Atlanta Braves spring training stadium in Disney. Was a great experience. I too in my later years was an outfielder, CF/RF. Didn’t have a lot of power but my nickname was “the cat”, I guess because I was fast lol
  8. Welp I think it’s time to pop open my Dewey beer co marshmallow stout growler...I’ve had it unopened for about 5 days now, I’ve read various results about how long unopened growlers last, don’t want it to go to waste so here goes. 64 oz’s of 9.4% should create a solid buzz
  9. Yeah Golf is probably the easiest to get going. They can be spectatorless
  10. Baseball could still be played to some degree at some point but no idea when or how
  11. Thanks. I just think the guidelines on obesity are a bit extreme.
  12. The definition of obese is a bit crazy though. I’m 5’8, 205....I wouldn’t consider myself all that fat, but under the definition, I’m obese
  13. Lol it’s Deweybeer marshmallow stout 9.4%. I definitely wanna try it. I’m just trying not to be a raging alcoholic during this quarantine lol
  14. Damn, one of my local bars is offering a $5 Growler fill of DFH 90 min...that’s a great deal, too bad I haven’t drank what’s already in my growler yet lol
  15. Due to the threat of inclement weather, (freeze warning) homeschool will be operating on a 2 hour delay tomorrow. Just so y’all know.
  16. I don’t know why but when you say bangs, I’m totally picturing you looking like this
  17. To be fair, the way I interpreted it was May 1 is when they’re going to “begin” the process. Meaning it’ll be gradual, with probably still stipulations in place. Perhaps mask wearing, as much social distancing as possible and not opening everything at once.
  18. Yeah ive has the world wide stout. I’ve also had DFH higher math. Technically considered an ale I guess but it’s chocolate cherry. A bit sweet but boozy and good too
  19. Same here. The Growler fill I got that is Dewey beer marshmallow is 9.4% so should be considered imperial. The best brew I think I’ve ever had is Founders Lizard of Koz...Goose Island made one like it too called Bourbon county northwoods stout. Tasted like a blueberry chocolate imperial stout. I haven’t been able to find it in a couple years though
  20. Have you tried their 10 layer stouts?
  21. Yeah I got a growler fill of Dewey beer Marshmallow stout. I’ll crack that this weekend
  22. Yeah I’m a malt forward guy first (stouts, porters, brown ales). But I like to occasionally drink sours especially intriguing ones, and RaR puts out a ton of different crazy flavors
  23. Did another beer swap with a friend..if you’re into various sour beers that are heavily fruit forward, RAR in Cambridge is your brewery! Dole whipped (pineapple, think the dole whip at Disney) and Double Key Lime Pie!
  24. Right. It’s not a decision that anybody is happy about (even this kids probably aren’t happy at this point, they’re bored). But we know it’s inevitable. They may as well just make the call and then decide how to proceed with graduations, grades etc.
