Just drove to work. Definitely looks pretty with the ~4” of snow completely incased in ice. Looks like natural skating rinks lol. Roads arent too bad though, but then again I drive a wrangler lol
There is some good precipitation development though on the eastern shore and slowly tracking NW. I’d assume that’s the hope for snow today if that continues
I’m just sayin dude. I didn’t say it is or would be correct. But it’s something to consider. That said, I personally still don’t buy that much snow into Maryland today. But if I’m up on the PA line or into Philly I’d still feel okay
People always overreact to pressure changes in set ups like these. This one just isn’t ours, period. But hey, today was a nice wintry scene. So I’m trying not to Complain too much. Most snow I’ve had since March 18’
I said south and southwest of Baltimore. Look at the movement and the dryslot to our south. There’s hardly any radar returns in AA County and southern MD..are we looking at the same thing?
I must be looking at a different radar than y’all...some good stuff north west of Baltimore...south and southwest of Baltimore is all spotty light precipitation..
Lol. Thank god it was cold today. It’s been nice to see everything completely covered in snow. But this is a bust in my book. I had about 2 hours of decent snow. Everything else has been pixie dust or flurries
It’s too far north. Rule of thumb is precipitation tends to shut off once the low pressure gets to or passes ones latitude. That stuff on the 3k that losetoa6 mentioned isnt the deform. It’s that weird inverted trough feature that the Euro is picking up on. Maybe we get lucky and it happens but I’m not counting on it
