  1. Ok but I bet even the weatherbell 10:1 map wasn’t like that storm vista one. Something was up with that map
  2. I mean that’s a far cry from that storm vista map. And it makes a lot more sense
  3. Seems like a really strange snow map output.
  4. Yeah id bet its partially that...also the cities have seemed to be too close to the upper level energies i guess
  5. Looks like N&W is likely to do a lot better than I95 and the cities though with whatever falls thursday evening/night...data seems to want to kind of dry slot cities and keep the party going with bands N&W...believable since weve seen that story before
  6. The 3K was great for the fall line NW....maybe even for Baltimore. Its close
  7. I know...probably should have responded to Ji
  8. 2-4 on the ground for pretty much everyone by 17z on HRRR...DC mixing, still snow Balt-north
  9. Hey nothing else to look at right now...I was right about the watches going up within the hour
  10. HRRR has snow for all by 10-12z, kinda light north of DC tho
  11. Total 10:1 snow is 6-10" area wide basically
  12. Thumpier to start but also went to the idea of just lighter precip or lull like afterwards, like some of the other 12z stuff
  13. Defintely thumpier, especially north of DC
  14. mix line up to DC at 54...Baltimore still hanging to snow
  15. Yeah defintely a healthier preciptation shield at 48
  16. Precip a little more expansive at hr 39, other than that i dont see much different in euro
  17. Buy a jeep with some monster tires like i have and you dont have to worry about shoveling...let the mailman out front on the sidewalks fend for him/herself
  18. Cold surface temps on GFS...quick thumper...really close. Lol gonna be a tough one predicting these snow vs sleet lines
  19. Its great if you count the sleet as snow like the snow maps do lol
  20. Pretty much all the guidance at this point has below freezing temps for pretty much all, all day thursday...questions are the warm layers aloft and precip types
  21. ICON also seems to have that initial band of snow into PA..not as heavy as NAM but there at 48
  22. Yeah I mean the 3K is super close to having super heavy snow in the cities right at the morning rush..I wouldnt sweat what it shows verbatim quite yet..its a mauling for a few hours in northern MD/pa line
