  1. It's just mixed back to mostly moderate snow in Westfield.
  2. And just like that 50/50 moderate snow sleet in Westfield
  3. All while this site chokes on too many weenies. Still moderate snow in Westfield
  4. Moderate snow currently in Westfield. Man, this site is not happy today with all of us on here
  5. Measured 3 inches in Simsbury 45 minutes ago, 3 inches in Granby center shortly after, and 3 inches in Westfield when I got home. If you ask me I don't see this changing over, certainly not to rain
  6. Makes sense now, the roads are a mess. Couple accidents in Sismbury already...
  7. If you believe the latest runs, I may actually do pretty well in both my locations... and have to cover my friends plow route tonight
  8. Coming down quite well in Simsbury, just about a half inch now. 28 Degrees... sun angle??
  9. Mesos keep my hood snow until about 4p.m. Not sure I buy it hanging in that long unless this bombs
  10. I bottomed (giggity) out at 24 in Westfield, was 26 whn I left the house. 27 in Simsbury. The school system is closed along with many others in this area.
  11. Lots of schools closed this morning in the northern CT area. Works for me, I have a ton of maintenance in on of the districts
  12. Dropped to 24 in Westfield overnight, up to 26 now. LOL 12Z GFS, I'll believe it when I plow it!
  13. Speaking of colder, down to 26 in Westfield already. I didn't expect it to cool so rapidly this evening
  14. Someone at the NWS must be trolling now... or just plain dumbass
  15. Bob Cox on WTIC super conservative as of this morning (as always), going for 3 to 6 in the hills with about an inch everywhere else. I just don't see that myself with the overnight slight trends. I could see 3 to 6 near Hartford to BDL and 4 to 8 in the hills
  16. Super slick in Westfield with no treatment anywhere but the State roads
  17. Reminds me, someday I need to draw a rain/snow line map for my area that better explains it. Models and local forecasts just never get the area right. Heavy smoothing on the maps
  18. You knew that was bound to happen... or rains to northern VT
  19. I feel like we had a similar storm last season, similar disagreement and last minute the warm tongue was firmly inserted into SNE... but i don't have anywhere your memory capacity
  20. Or Bradley could be white rain and I'm dumping up here. We just don't know. Did you run out of beer?
  21. Don't you have 24 hours? That's what most towns are. And LOL at the name showing 6 to 8 inches in westfield, but none in Simsbury where I'm covering my friend's plow route. Definitely won't happen because I'm really not looking forward to plowing this storm
  22. More like Tuesday afternoon. Looks like I'll be out plowing by midnight/2am if the timing on the models holds
  23. Possibly, as long as you're not talking about the NAM this far out. It's not useful yet
