We had absolutely nothing in Simsbury or Westfield... but as soon as I posted that, the gusts started in Sims

Yeah, what happened to the wind? Pretty lame out this way. No real ice left on the trees except snow/sleet bonded to the evergreens

I know we're taught not to laugh at other peoples displeasures but... driving to work this morning several residential plow operators waited until this morning to try and clear driveways I had to pull over and watch one struggle, there's NO way they were moving this stuff! I miss my plow route...

Massive moderate parachutes falling here the last 20 minutes in westfield. It's already put down a half inch right after I finished snow blowing the driveway of course. Back below freezing again also down to 31.5

Streets and driveways will be a mess by morning! Huge puddles on every roadway between Westfield and South Windsor. Only town i saw actively clearing drains was Southwick

Still 31.5 here in Westfield. Just got back from a birthday party and NOW have to snowblow the concrete! We did well here, nearly 6 inches before the changeover early A.M.

Can't say that for sure yet either, but I get where you're coming from. It's all about phasing, and we sure won't have a good idea on that for probably 4 more days

My buddy didn't plow his route in Simsbury yesterday because he's always worried about people bitching it wasn't enough to plow... now they're bitching because they have frozen slush glaciers in the driveways. I told him he should have done the route...

I could walk on top of the snow at home this morning. It is a brick right now, about 6 inches OTG in Westfield. Not going anywhere easily

It's a shame what's happened to the Euro, but I still look at it because it seems to get a clue once we're a day or two out. The UK is... interesting at times. Sometimes it's comic relief and others it's a decent piece of guidance
