  1. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I put more stock in the CMC or mid trance NAM for trends over the ICON
  2. LOL is right, same as citing the NAM at this range... without caveats
  3. We had several houses to rough wire, two of them in Riverton. We had days we couldn't pull romex because it would crack. One of my MOST miserable times at work ever
  4. Bonus for sure IMO, for MBY area. Anything before the end of the month has always been seen as a bonus to me. I wonder how many who whine about it are quite a bit younger. Heading towards, 60 I've seen more than my share of duds in SNE!
  5. 2 degrees at the house this morning. Minus 1 in Southwick. Snow pack certainly helps
  6. Yo Yo on the GFS regarding this weekend. Weak sauce again. Like I said yesterday, don't like a run, wait til the next
  7. It does appear that the GrinchFS is slowly changing its tune on that. Wouldn't surprise me considering so far they've all been muted
  8. They're quite a bit more last week, and a little further east... but I wouldn't mind another inch. Saturday morning was kind of a surprise
  9. I used the Milwaukee blower on rabbit mode to blow our one inch Sunday morning. It's amazing how much force some of these new blowers have
  10. Just wait a run or two. We have no idea whats happening 5 plus days from now. Every run is a different roll of the dice. Just look for signals. I still say most Decembers where I grew up (Granby) were nearly snowless until at least Christmas, aside from a dusting here or there. I find it unusual to have 3 inches OTG here right now
  11. That's what we want to see at this point. Models keying in on signals, but won't lock on to an actual possible storm for several days. Let's keep that trend. On another note, I wonder how much of our warming is caused by excessive flatulence due to excessive beer consumption?
  12. Down to 4 at home in Westfield. A friend in Southwick currently at 2. I'm pissed I wasn't able to finish my re insulation project at home before winter hit, hopefully next heating season it'll be complete.
  13. Euro isn't quite buying... until near Christmas. Don't worry, GFS after day 3 just rolls the dice and spits out B.S. solutions anyway. Wait 36 hours, it'll probably show a K.U.
  14. LOL!! And, Subie... you're talking Forester, right?
  15. Looks like we hit 6 here, reading 8 now. it's gonna hurt bringing the trash out this A.M.!
  16. To quote Jerry Troupiano "Way back, WAY BACK!"
  17. Nickle and dimes are fine if we keep pumping them in, and manage a few decent size events as in 1995-'96. Is that too much to ask for...
  18. Acknowledged captain haha. I hear you... and yes we all do. My question is, do you believe this is strictly an east coast storm issue? The reason I ask is that we see plenty of tight phasing pretty much anywhere still. Seriously, not trying to be an ass.. just curious
  19. We had 5 in Westfield. My nephew in Granville had 6.25
  20. Probably because those jogging shorts make it far easier for the weed wacker to reach its intended target
  21. The pattern seems like it's about to recycle what we've just gone through the past two or three weeks, it's not sure what exactly to focus on yet but there's lots of players on the field at least. Let's hope climo help some others out as we move forward. AND I need to stop typing and get some sleep! I'm not even sure if what I'm typing makes any sense
  22. We saw that here in westfield. If you straight measured it like I usually do... I know it's not the right way, then we had about 4.75". The other half measured it right and I can't remember because I'm dead tired from plowing all night but it was more than that here. I think he said around 6"
  23. So, someone can bitch... but we can't respond?? Makes no sense. If you're going to have one, you've got to have the other EDIT: I should add, it's taken me a very, very long time but I'm starting to realize it's part of the fun here
  24. This stuff is super saturated down here in simsbury. There's about 3 in but now it's totally waterlogged. Feels more like I'm plowing the Ocean than somebody's driveway
  25. Heaviest snow I've seen all day so far now in westfield. 100% snow again here. Heading out now to hit the plow route in Simsbury
