    We call it pellet stove season in our house. We've barely used the gas heat yet. The pellets aren't economical to try to supplement the gas heat midwinter, but they're great for the in between seasons

    Crazy things happening at work the last week and a half so the only thing I ever looked at was the wonderful 'ol GFS... probably two or three days ago now

    I'm heading to an event in Hilliard Ohio tomorrow morning. I'll be taking RT 80 through PA, and hoping to see some good color along the way.

    It's fun to have at least something to watch... but I'm more interested in the pattern after this time frame. Gut says the first cold push is waiting in the wings. I really need to finish my re-insulation prOject at the house!

    Very much a MEH storm out my way. Very little wind of any kind. I believe about 1.25" And, lets not have these double boob lows showing up this winter

    Same here, but not until the rain stops... may end up being this weekend. It actually ran a little yesterday, we have to keep the house below 75 for the chinchillas

    Cleaned and serviced ours last weekend, and ran it for an hour this A.M. 36 degrees in Westfield this morning

    I was speaking with an old friend in Germany recently. He said it's become so bad there that some are being arrested simply for posting their own opinion on social media platforms, she says it reminds her of what they studied about 1930s Germany. This isn't a political "side" issue at all, it's a societal issue and it's... spooky

    Low of 41 in Westfield this A.M. These temps had my husband racing around bringing plants into the house last night... it's like a nursery now

    It's because unfortunately there are some who think that if they're posting something like that, they must know something... My best friend does this every year "but he sounds like he knows what he's talking about" LOL

    Another fantastic fall like morning here in the valley! Cool and some clouds for the win, a great treat after the terrible heat It must be my Irish roots, I should live in the PNW or do the vampire thing and live at night

    Quite some damage in Southwick yesterday afternoon. Lots of roads closed due to trees down this A.M. Had to detour three times between Westfield and Simsbury

    Another 3 plus inch rainstorm in Westfield, and that was at 10 last night. I can hear my lawn growing 15 miles away
