  1. So seeing what Will posted about a possible upcoming pattern, is this what we call being nauseously optimistic? Sorry! I couldn't resist Seriously though, I'm all for seeing what may or may not develop out of what's depicted
  2. That 2/8 timeframe has been historically decent many times... lets root for some historical JuJu
  3. Mmmmm well there's been other things done just as stupid amongst the other side... Say, like putting stock in a 200 plus hour GFS forecast
  4. True. I will say i didn't really like the idea... but do "get it" for where it comes from. Kind of goes along with those from the states that visit a foreign country. Want to sound like an idiot when asked where you're from... tell them America. They say, well which one?? Light showers here currently at 36 degrees
  5. Funny that he's more right than he probably meant to be... Mexico is North America. Up to 35 degrees here now
  6. It's amazing how warm a MOIST 34 degrees feels after the cold mornings we've had. Husband says there's a couple flurries in Westfield right now, won't last for sure
  7. Temp shot up fast here. Up to 34 now from 21 at 6 A.M.
  8. Kind of looks like hurry up and wait though. To me it doesn't even look like much precip gets into Hartford before noon or so
  9. On what, the GFS? I hope you're not surprised... IT should have been called the CFS, Craps Forecasting System. As far as I'm concerned it's useless as tits on a bull past day 4
  10. Only solace there, if you put any stock in history repeating is that 2016-17 was very nice...
  11. I graduated High School in '88. At the time we were in the 80s building biom and rough wiring houses all through winter. SO cold to the point sometimes we'd have problems with wires cracking
  12. Those of us that are older would quite disagree. Nothing new about this to me, and several of them that I remember were colder than this!
  13. The way it performs long range, just let it stay stuck there. No real reason to go much further in this pattern
  14. well... third time tonight woken by heavy winds. 5 am is going to be rough tomorrow EDIT AND... media getting "facts" wrong again just to be first... it wasn't a small plane that collided with a military helicopter in D.C, it was a passenger jet! Idiots all of them
  15. Been looking that way for a while
  16. Quickly moving! Already done and brightening... and cooling
  17. Rain to snow squall with heavy winds and some thunder! I don't remember seeing anything quite like this
  18. Norlt even a dusting in Westfield, just some flakes on the windshield
  19. Nothing in Westfield. A friend says some really light stuff in Granville
  20. So they're falling in line with the ICON?? I'm scared
  21. 12Z GFS looks pretty paltry for tonight's Clipper to my untrained eyes, especially MA CT border south
  22. I very much disagree with this statement, we have had more than our share in March in SNE... but sure by then you aren't looking to build anything in this area just pad stats (whatever those are )
  23. Coming down quick at home in Westfield, ground coated up within 2 minutes
  24. Looks like there could be a couple chances this morning in N.CT and parts of Mass
