Down to 15 here, not as terrible as those up north. Maybe drop to 5 by morning. Looking forward to see what happens the next week +

Yes, correct. It seemed larger because of the snow drought we'd been in. My book shows 7 inches in Granby. It was a good omen for later that year

If anyone would remember this, you certainly... Will. Do you remember a storm March 21/22 1991? It wasn't much of a winter but then we had a big dog Nor'Easter on those dates... all while I was driving back from Florida in a Ford Escort (puke) We hit first snow on the D.C. loop and were in and out all the way back to Granby CT. Seemed after like a harbinger of things to come the following years. This looks somewhat similar to the pattern leading up to that storm EDIT: 1990, or 1991. Almost positive it was 1991

True. I will say i didn't really like the idea... but do "get it" for where it comes from. Kind of goes along with those from the states that visit a foreign country. Want to sound like an idiot when asked where you're from... tell them America. They say, well which one?? Light showers here currently at 36 degrees

It's amazing how warm a MOIST 34 degrees feels after the cold mornings we've had. Husband says there's a couple flurries in Westfield right now, won't last for sure

I graduated High School in '88. At the time we were in the 80s building biom and rough wiring houses all through winter. SO cold to the point sometimes we'd have problems with wires cracking

Those of us that are older would quite disagree. Nothing new about this to me, and several of them that I remember were colder than this!

well... third time tonight woken by heavy winds. 5 am is going to be rough tomorrow EDIT AND... media getting "facts" wrong again just to be first... it wasn't a small plane that collided with a military helicopter in D.C, it was a passenger jet! Idiots all of them
