  1. Kinda, it was more North over Maryland I think.
  2. TOR just northwest of me. I can hear the siren.
  3. That’s the beginning of cicada stew we’ll be having after the rain ends!
  4. About to rain in Short Pump, but it will not rain here, 2ish miles away. This is my fault.
  5. Storm went south of me. I blame Short Pump. Maybe something will reach here in a little while.
  6. I’m down here, not too far away from Short Pump, and of course I get left out.
  7. That’s an interesting tiny slow moving storm in Rockingham, VA.
  8. There was a bush and rosemary plant both looked like they were suffering a bit. The leaves on the bush were turning brown on the ends, and the rosemary was yellowing.
  9. What about a Hennessey Velociraptor, or a Rezvani Hercules? Pretty cool 6x6 trucks.
  10. Yup, it’s better to slowly add water to the Cicada stew, too much and the flavors get all out of wack.
  11. Do they frequently hit the car while driving? I’d imagine so...
  12. The gap in the storm closed up right after it passed over my house. I think it knows everyone...
  13. That was boring. The thunder stopped before the storm even got here. Wind was meh. Now that it’s passed, thunder has started again. Storms are weird.
  14. Sky got really dark. Completely expect the loud rain to start any second now.
  15. Think I’m a little too far south, almost on the edge of the watch area.
  16. Small storms with thunder popping up to my southwest. Heard a transformer explode earlier I think. I really don’t want to be on my computer right now... but I have to. 68° F
  17. Was some pea sized, maybe slightly bigger hail here. Pretty brief.
  18. Got a really tiny thunderstorm moving over here. 5 miles or so across.
  19. 68° with a few drops out of the sky. Looks like another miss to the south day, with not enough rain to wash pollen away so far, hopefully that changes. Just came back inside with my hands covered in it as if I ate yellow Cheetos or something.
  20. I’ve heard from a lot of people that the needle was harder to feel than others, was that your experience?
  21. Some storms to my south, something to my north, sunny here but feels like a summer day. 6:46PM Edit: Storms North, West, South, hopefully they make it here, but I have my doubts because... They probably aren’t going to make it here.
  22. That’s how they’ve been able to stay around I think. No other creature is able to adapt to that 17 year cycle. Cicadas themselves can’t defend themselves, so they’re just snacks for birds. Probably good snacks too.
