I did leaves today and it was disgusting. Shorts and tshirt, leaf dust clinging to my sweaty body.
The only good thing was how dry the leaves are... they mulch really well.

Any inside insight on this from our local nws peeps?
Rained all day in Deep Creek today. I know I know, we need the rain, but I'm done with this week+ of dreary weather. I feel like something similar happened in the spring, which cancelled a week+ of softball then and did it again this past week.
No joke. Daughter's fall softball league feels more like a summer league at this point. September is an extension of summer.
Made it out to Deep Creek this afternoon and its soupy out here. Thunderstorm just rolled through.
We were there too! Was a fun time! I was 4 when my parents took me to the Born in the USA tour at Capital Centre. I actually remember being up in the nosebleeds and the feeling of the bass within my body haha.
Glad hes still got it after all these years.
Just in time for my house painters to start haha. At least next week looks clear.
The people that live in the shallow coves just need to deal with the fact they live in a shallow cove. I think the lake level is only a couple inches below the lower rule band right now.
You just lived through the most humid summer on record - The Washington Post
This analysis backed up my observations this summer. Even out in the MD mountains it was humid.
Whew, even out at Deep Creek its hot. I don't remember such sustained heat and humidity out here. Other than part of Wednesday this week has been soupy. I need to buy some property up by Phineas and escape this heat .
Was at the game, and that joke of a play on a pop up behind third with two outs that gave up two runs made me think they weren't gonna win that game. Bad defense and not much offense. Mullins had 4 RBI tho!
