  1. First ACC tourney win in school history and didnt let the ncaa shaft us out of march madness, wooot!
  2. My wife and kids came up friday evening. Said 70 was super slow between 270 merge and Hagerstown. Saw a bunch of people on the overpasses and trucks headed to Hagerstown. I think whatever is left of the convoy was headed back to base camp and slowed stuff down. The Friday prior we left at the same time and didnt hit any traffic.
  3. yea going up tomorrow morning to get a couple projects done. was gonna start work on the boat but wil enjoy one last snow weenie weekend! We have igloo reservations Saturday but probably wont be able to make it over there in the FWD sleigh

  5. whoa that WSW reads like it was written by a weenie. 6-12, blizzard conditions, hypothermia possible!
  6. I was going to do the same with my boat this weekend but now it looks like western md is gonna cash in on some snow. Power washer goes back in the garage and skis come back out . Finally broke down and bought the family season passes to wisp for next year, and they let you use them the remainder of this year. Hopefully that doesnt jinx the weather next winter!
  7. lol there will be virtual pitchforks outside the board of ed zoom call if they try that again.
  8. Can we make the snow day Sunday? Howard County didn't build in any snow days, so we are making up all these days at the end of the year. We also lost Pres Day Monday (maybe it will snow!?!) Although if the make up days are all 3 hour early dismissals, I question how many kids will actually show up June 21.
  9. We dont need any more rain day school closings. Kids will be in school till july!
  10. NFL changed the rules after we did that. Committing multiple penalties on a play to "influence the clock" is a 15 yard penalty and they reset the game clock to what is was at the snap. I was thinking the same thing until someone told me about the rule change. All the Bills had to do was kick a returnable kickoff, rush 2, drop everyone else in coverage and clog the middle 10-15yds.
  11. Damn thats crazy @psuhoffman! Glad you got some skiing in. My 9 yr old called it after a couple runs and her nose was getting purple. We just made it home to Elliott City, 219 North was packed snow until Accident and then it was wet/slush. 68 was slushy with one lane until frostburg. lots of plows out on 68. @DDweatherman were you in waterfront greens? Harveys had so much drifting it was basically one lane, same with parts of north glade. Me and the kid on the lift during a sqwall.
  12. Roads were pretty dicey back to Swanton from Wisp, lots of drifting. Had to go the back way around north glade road because a bunch of cars ended up in the ditch near Red Barn Inn. Hoping 219 North to 68 is a little better.
  13. Hows Wisp? we are planning to head up in the next hour. Probably 12-16" so far with off and on heavy snow. Just shoveled the driveway and its already white again.
  14. sleet had made it to Garrett county! Hopefully we switch back.
  15. Took the new sleigh out for its first winter adventure. Probably 7-8" but just light snow now.
  16. 3-4" OTG and its pouring snow. Hopefully the sleet holds off tonight.
  17. Not sure your price range but theres a lake front place two doors down from me on the market for 1.8M. Garrett county roads are usually clear right after the snow ends, even the side streets.
  18. NWS bullish for the mountains, 6-12" through sun night with more on Monday in Garrett.
  19. I brought my generator up just in case, so we are double jinxed now.
